Hi, I’m Barrett Barker. I am a videographer, animator, and multimedia creator based in Portland, Oregon. My work blends storytelling with technical precision, exploring everything from narrative filmmaking to experimental visuals. Whether behind the camera, crafting animations, or fine-tuning motion graphics, I’m constantly searching for innovative ways to capture emotion and atmosphere.
Beyond video production, I have a strong interest in entertaining fringe topics (the truth is out there!), learning new things about the universe, and appreciating nature — elements that often influence my creative approach. I enjoy integrating different mediums to create immersive experiences, whether through After Effects compositing, Procreate illustrations and animations, or environmental soundscapes.
When I’m not working on creative projects, you can find me at one of the many local Portland movie theaters, outside with my partner exploring the Pacific Northwest, tending to my constantly growing (it’s an addiction!) collection of plants, or cuddling with my black goblin cat, Hubble.
